Belle Glos showcases distinctive Pinot Noirs produced from California’s most noteworthy coastal wine-growing regions. While each vineyard location lies near the Pacific Ocean, the climate differences are significant, varying with the amount of fog, wind, sunlight, and soil type at each site. Each vineyard designated wine is crafted to distill the purest essence of the locale into elegant expressions of California Pinot Noir.
Las Alturas Pinot Noir
Blueberry pie, fresh tilled earth, and sweet black licorice aromas lead to a supple palate entry with complex flavors of blackberry, currant, and ripe tannins.
Clark & Telephone Pinot Noir
Aromas of plum, cinnamon and clove are complemented by flavors of ripe blackberry, raspberry, sweet baking spices, along with velvety tannins and a smooth toasty finish.
Dairyman Pinot Noir
Aromas of black cherry, mineral notes and baking spices follow through to flavors on the palate of sweetly spiced plum pudding, red cherry, cool river stones and silky tannins.
Balade Pinot Noir
Juicy and generous on the palate with baked cherry, fresh strawberry, cranberry, and baking spices. Perfectly balanced with bright acidity and a supple mouthfeel.
Eulenloch Pinot Noir
A rich and opulent wine offering flavors of marionberry accented by hints of brown sugar and chocolate nibs. This wine is velvety with supple, refined tannins and a silky, lush finish.
Oeil de Perdrix Pinot Noir Blanc
This is a bespoke rosé in that the Pinot Noir grapes were grown specifically with the intention of making a rosé wine. The delicate charm, yet intriguing complexity of this wine harmonize beautifully by presenting bright berry flavors, balanced with a crisp refreshing structure.
My goal is to express the genuine uniqueness of each vineyard site and to craft a true style of California Pinot Noir that is layered, complex, fruit-forward and rich.
